Wonderful caring place! I adopted a sweet 3mo kitten. The cost of $160 is totally worth it. He came with a chip, his shots and he has already been neutered. He's in great health and is super sweet and playful. Working with the staff was very pleasant. Even on a busy day, they made time to answer my questions and go over the paperwork thoroughly. We recently adopted two lovely 18 month old kittens from the Rutland shelter. They were bonded and needed to be adopted together. We never expected to find that were spayed, UTD on vaccinations, dewormed and had been given full health exams. The shelter is spotless and we detected no odors. When we arrived, the folks who worked there took careful note of our needs and whether we would even qualify to take a pet home. That detail is impressive and shows the caring and devotion that these folks place on their charges. We were given a tour of the "cat rooms" and given quiet time to interact with the furry residents. AFTER GIVING MY TWO FEMALE INDOOR FIXED CAT'S COOKIE AND OREO TO THE RUTLAND COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY I HAVE BEEN HAVING NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS EVERYDAY! PROBLEMS I DO NOT NEED AND PROBLEMS I DO NOT WANT! I DON'T APPRECIATE THE PUBLIC STARING AT ME! I DON'T APPRECIATE THE PET OWNER AND PET BEING AROUND ME! I DON'T APPRECIATE SEEING A PET WHEN I DON'T WANT TO SEE ONE! I DON'T APPRECIATE NOT BEING ABLE TO DEAL WITH THIS ISSUE ON MY OWN BECAUSE THE PUBLIC MAKES IT MORE DIFFICULT, STRESSFUL, AND UPSETTING ON MY END!
