Everyone is very kind and happy to help out with the process of adoption ! I adopted a dog from there and I had a beautiful experience! Would do it again in a heartbeat! 💗

I want to start by saying that I truly understand the challenges nonprofit animal rescues face. They operate on donations, rely heavily on volunteers, and care for hundreds of animals with limited time, space, and resources. I have a lot of respect for that, and my intention here is not to complain or discourage support — only to share my experience in hopes it may be helpful. I initially went to the rescue to look at a kitten, but ended up completely falling in love with an older cat instead. I have absolutely no regrets — he is the perfect cat for our home, and I’m very grateful to have him. That said, the overall experience was disappointing in several ways. Amazing place with amazing people. Volunteer/donate if you can! I volunteered here for a couple of days and it was hard work but so rewarding. Best no kill shelter around!!

I stopped in as a volunteer transport driver to help deliver precious cargo to their new furever mom. I usually drive middle legs. It was my first time as the first leg of a transport and since we were crossing state lines I knew there were extra very important requirements. Everyone there was really nice. The woman who was directly helping me was very patient and showed me all of the paperwork in detail going with the dog. Bonus star if I could, knowing it was a long drive I asked to use their bathroom. It is in the building with the cats. I am allergic to cats and I did not have a reaction so they must be keeping it very clean. Also, I don't know how long the dog we transported was with them or what their full back story was and meeting strangers can go a lot of ways. In their waiting

The team at this SPCA is the most caring and loving toward their animals and were so helpful in our recent adoption of Stan (now Boone!) I went on Friday to meet him and they allowed me time to play with him on my own, and held him for me until my husband could meet him on Sunday. They were very thorough with his past situation and any concerns they may have as well. They made the process seamless and efficient. We even came home with a full bag of goodies for Boone that was so unexpected! This SPCA was a dream experience!
