Beautiful private location with excellent training pond and pattern field. Trainer uses multiple training locations as well depending on what you are looking for with your pup. Whether training or just boarding, there is a very large kennel house completely enclosed with climate control year-round to keep your pup protected from the elements and comfy. Ryan is an amazing trainer/person that truly has a passion to work with dogs. His thoughtfulness, commitment, and communication is second to none. If you are looking for someone to care for your best friend while you are traveling or to work on obedience and/or retrieving, you can trust that Rushcreek Kennels will exceed your expectations and then some.

We adopted our little boy Mitch and he quickly grew into a very big boy, as we have never had large dogs I didn’t feel comfortable even walking him around the block. Mitch stayed with Ryan at Rushcreek Kennels for 4 weeks and while we missed him it was the best decision ever made! Ryan worked miracles on him, he walks by my side perfectly doesn’t pull, comes when called and generally listens to all commands, and this is almost five months out. We visited Mitch twice to train and work with Ryan which was a pleasure, Ryan sent pictures and notes of how Mitch was doing throughout his stay. The price was right though, now looking back we would’ve paid more knowing the results. I was apprehensive to leave our dog somewhere two hours away and for so long but after the first visit and training

8 years ago, by the grace of god, we found Ryan! After 2 different trainers almost ruined our first DK, Ryan was able to undo and reteach. He turned our dog around and made him truly the best dog. When we got another DK last year, there was no question who we would have train him. Ryan is patient, kind and thorough. We have a steady dog, both in and out of the field, that even our 3-year-old daughter can control. If you want a trained companion, look no further than Rushcreek Kennels!

We recently sent our 1-year-old GSP/lab mix to Rushcreek for obedience and retriever training, and got back a completely different dog! She has been much easier and more fun to work with since her return and has learned her to harness her VERY abundant energy into a job, leaving her more calm and content. We can take her for walks without getting frustrated, and she will eventually take over as our main gun dog as our lab retires to a more relaxed life at home. Ryan is a great guy to work with and allowed us to visit and work with Delta throughout the 4 months she was with him. He also sent us regular video updates documenting her progress and was very transparent about how long it would take and if she’d need more or less work on certain skills. 10/10 highly recommend.
