Rugged Oak Canine Camp

We love Rachel & Rugged Oak! Our dog, Franklin, can’t WAIT to go to puppy camp. He jumps right in the car in the morning. When we pick him up, he doesn’t want to leave!! Rachel is so good to dogs — and people! She’s kind and considerate — even coming out to our car to get Franklin when I have our newborn in the car. She saved us in an emergency when we had to impromptu have Franklin stay with her overnight. She — and her dog camp — are gems! So lucky to have her in Central PA! Thank you, Rachel & Rugged Oak for everything you do!

Cannot say enough great things about this place! My dog goes twice a week and loves it! She basically drags me inside so she can go play asap! She gets to play all day while I’m at work and she comes home absolutely exhausted! I also love when she’s posts the dogs on Facebook! You can see they’re all genuinely happy there! I mean, you can see it below on my dogs face. Rachel takes amazing care of the dogs and you can tell she loves what she does. I cannot recommend this place enough!

This is Dino! He has been going to Rugged Oak for awhile now and can't get enough! He runs through the door of camp everyday to greet Rachel with a wet nose and a wagging tail. Rugged Oak Canine Camp has transformed my relationship with my pet. When I get home from work- Dino is now ready to relax with me. Before we sent him to camp, when I arrived home he was ready to play and I was ready to relax. In addition, Rachel has taught him many manners and enforces them while he is at camp. Every cent that I pay for camp is beneficial. I cannot recommend Rugged Oak Canine Camp enough!

My pup loves going to Rugged Oak. She practically drags me in and can't wait for Ms Rachel to take her to play with her friends.

Rugged Oak is fantastic. My dog loves going here to play with all her friends and Rachel, the owner, is wonderful with all the dogs. You can tell she loves animals and they love her back. Sometimes, I think my dog loves Rachel more than me, and that's ok, because she is well taken care of and can get rid of all that energy. I would HIGHLY recommend this facility and the owner.
