I cannot begin with explain how grateful I feel with Ruff Haven. In our families time of need they have gone above and beyond to help us keep our pup in our family. While facing my partner’s sudden deportation while at our last case hearing, my family and I where left with no other choice than to follow him to our home country in order to stay together. I being left alone with both my children and furbaby, was left with a financial burden that made our travel hard. Ruff Haven Crisis Pet Sheltering was a lifesaver for my family and our dog’s during a very difficult time. While we were undergoing medical treatments and procedures, they provided our pets with not only exceptional veterinary care, food, and safe housing, but also an outpouring of compassion. The staff went above and beyond in every way. They kept us updated regularly with photos, messages, and even arranged visits so we could still see our pets and feel connected. I was fortunate enough to get an appointment for the free vaccinations, the team was welcoming and handled my pet with ease and care, great atmosphere as well, things moved quickly and within 5 minutes my girl was brought back out to me! Definitely would recommend Ruff Haven

The people at the pet pantry are very nice and so are the ones that provide vaccinations services. I’ve used the haircut services more than once and they do a pretty good job. I struggle to pay for the haircuts for my dog regularly and she can get overgrown. She’s only a year old and has gone for several haircuts, every time there’s no problem because she’s desensitized. This time I picked her up and later in the day I noticed she was cut and the two days after her hair she was not acting like herself, wasn’t playing (she’s very high energy), and wasn’t barking. I am very concerned how my dog was treated at their new facility she was taken to, I do not want to take her again and I fear for her safety and wellbeing.
