RSQ is a place full of heart and hope. While I’m here in STG, every Thursday, I look forward to their open house where I get to spend time with the animals; showing them love, giving them attention, and seeing firsthand the incredible care they receive. It’s not just about adopting out pets (though they do that beautifully), it’s about building a community of compassion and second chances. What I love most about RSQ is their mission. They’re deeply community-minded, working tirelessly to rescue animals in need and create a better life for them. I love the volunteers here. We adopted our sweet boy about a month ago. He's the friendliest dog ever and gets along well with our other dog. There weekly yard sale is awesome and you can find great stuff in great condition, plus all the funds go directly to the animals!

Over the course of two months, I had some of the most amazing rescue interactions I’ve ever had. Every volunteer I met was very obviously dedicated to what they do. Mason and Arlene were both so helpful in getting to know and help me adopt Chance, a 10 month old puppy. Though they mainly rely on donations, they made sure to set me and Chance up for success with many provided dog necessities at the time of adoption. I will recommend RSQ to anyone ready to add another furry family member! Here’s our boy we adopted ♥️🐾

We love RSQ! We have had the privilege of having two hospice dogs through them, as well as adopting two Corgis from them. They’re the best!

This is the nicest shelter I've ever seen. It's run completely by volunteers and donations, and the staff is phenomenal. The animals receive top-notch care, and they get a wonderful environment. It's sparkling clean! I admire these people from the bottom of my heart. If I were an abandoned animal, this shelter would be Paradise to me! The staff works so hard to accommodate people - these folks really are the BEST. I recommend checking out their yard sales on Saturdays...that's a big source of their funding.
