Customer Reviews
We’ve had a great experience with RR Professional Dog Training & Boarding. Dobby completed their 6-week training program, and we were very happy with the results. He came back more confident, responsive, and well-mannered, and the follow-up sessions made it easy for us to continue the training at home. Dobby has also boarded with them a couple of times, and he is always happy and comfortable going there, which says a lot as a dog owner. We truly trust their care. One thing we especially appreciated was their communication and transparency. During one of Dobby’s stays, they proactively contacted us when their AC stopped working and immediately made arrangements to move him to another location to ensure his comfort and safety. They kept us informed the entire time, which we really appreciate
I can't say enough about my experience with RR. I sent my lab mix, Ivy, there for 6 weeks when she was about 1 year old. We have a highly reactive Corgi and our house was chaos before the training. This was the best money I have ever spent! Having Ivy so well trained literally transformed our entire household. The trainers are so good and the sessions where I got trained were invaluable. I no longer worry about her safety as she is very responsive to commands and I now have the confidence she won't run away. The off leash training is part of week 5 and 6. I highly recommend the training collar, which adds a bit more money but it has really helped me to continue the training at home. Because she is so well trained, I don't actually need to shock her but I have used the vibrate mod
We enrolled our German Shepherd in the full training program after she developed some concerning aggressive behaviors around age four, including with family members. What changed most wasn’t that she never growls or reacts - but that she listens. When we tell her “leave it” she immediately does. That difference has given us clarity, confidence, and safety. We now understand her signals, and we know we can interrupt and redirect her behavior right away. The improvement in her responsiveness and our ability to manage situations has been truly life-changing. We’re incredibly grateful for the training and highly recommend this program.
We cannot recommend RR Professional Dog Training & Boarding enough! We have a 4-year-old Anatolian Shepherd who had us at our wits’ end — extremely stubborn, possessive behaviors, trauma from previous crate experiences(past owners), lack of social cues, and very dog-selective. He was incredibly hard to train, and we were honestly running out of options. From the start, the team at RR was incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. They answered all our questions thoroughly and worked to get him into their 6-week in-kennel program sooner rather than later. Their dedication and expertise truly turned things around for our boy. His behavior has improved dramatically, and they gave us the tools and guidance to continue reinforcing that progress at home. He’s doing amazing now, and the support h
My three pups completed the 6 week off-leash board and train program at Sturgeon Lake. I have much more confidence in each of my dogs while out on walks (2 weigh more than I do), as well as in myself to handle them. I can now loose leash walk with them and I have better control of my chow chow to "leave" things. We loved their trainer, Stephanie, who picked up on their personalities and worked with each one differently as needed. She tailored the training to meet our needs (having the dogs meet a child, conditioning Harbor to ride in a car, two healing together on a walk with me, conditioning Parker to a soft muzzle for just in case, etc). The kennel staff were very kind and helpful each time I came to visit. The staff gave meds and were very good to communicate overall health and eati
