Richard at Royal Gundogs is first class, he’s had my Lab pup Raven in for 3 months of gundog training he kept me up to date on her progress and sent pictures. This passed weekend we ran her in a junior hunt test and she earned a pass both days thanks to Richard. He walked me through the whole process of a junior test and made sure I was ready as well as Raven. We are coming back for the advance gundog. Richard is honest and upfront, he won’t waste your time or your money. I highly recommend Royal Gundogs!

Richard is a Pro. He had my 1 year old female lab for 4 months. He was able to teach her; hold conditioning, marks, blind retrieves and hand signals in a short time. Not to mention how great her home manners were after the training. With her first waterfowl season under her belt, she is a very impressive hunter. She was the reason for multiple special hunt invites with the request "please bring pepper". All in all, I highly recommend Richard. He is easy to work with and more then accommodating to scheduling. He is a great resource and happy to answer any hunting/health/general dog questions!

I brought my dog, Sadie a four year old GWP to Royal Gundogs to clean up some bad habits that she had learned from a previous trainer. Rich worked with her for a few weeks and got her right on track. This year Sadie did an awesome job, pointing and retrieving. Rich, thank you for all your hard work.

Rich is an awesome trainer! He doesn’t JUST train dogs for people. He also helps you understand and learn to handle your retriever in the field with confidence. Definitely recommend Royal Gundogs to all my hunting buddies!
