For 9 beautiful years, Dr. Ross cared for my grumpy Canela with so much love, dedication, and compassion. From the very beginning, she treated her not just as a patient, but as family. Through every visit, every concern, and every stage of Canela’s life, she was always patient, gentle, and incredibly attentive. She took the time to explain everything and made sure we felt supported and understood. When the time came to say goodbye, she handled Canela’s passing with such dignity, empathy, and kindness. A mismanaged post-surgical infection from another hospital had left her unable to walk, in immense pain, and with spinal disc damage so severe we were told euthanasia might be the only option. I can’t say enough about Dr. Rawlins. I brought my cat in for a last minute appointment as a new patient because he was having some serious medical issues. She came up with a treatment plan and had him stay for 2 nights to undergo treatment. She made sure to call me at least twice a day while he was there, and when I brought him home, I spoke to her and the vet technician (Tara) about some concerns I was having. I could tell that Dr. Rawlins and the staff cared about the long term health of my cat, and they were more than willing to have me bring him in for any follow up concerns and exams. I never felt like I was being a burden with questions, and they seemed genuinely concerned about my fur baby. She even referred me to the UGA Veterinary Teaching Hospital for weekend and specialized car

Great place and people! ..one of my favorite backyard hens was having a hard time walking so I searched out a poultry vet in Gwinnett and the surrounding area.. I could tell they were thoughtful of my pet, as they looked to get me a very prompt appointment - as to not keep her in pain. The office staff was welcoming and kind; Dr. Ross did a thorough evaluation while the vet assistant handled my hen with great care! She took time to show and explain the X-rays to me and I left with peace of mind and a great recovery plan/treatment for my pet.

Dr Ross and staff were awesome. Attentive and answered all my questions. I notice that Dr Ross was gentle and care with Sparkle. She shook so much I thought she would have a heart attack. Instead her technician held her close and spoke softly calming her a bit. This experience was for Sparkle was a positive one.
