Rootopia Pet Resort

This place was just opening when my sister and I went and they were very welcoming! Grooming is by appt and daycare is walk in so not sure what the other review was meaning. There was a sign? Give them a chance because they just opened! But anyway, glad to see another pet place to choose from in Lubbock!

I don’t leave reviews often unless it’s exceptional service. I can’t speak for the boarding or daycare but I can rave about the grooming! It’s taken me 4 years to find someone that won’t groom my doodle like a poodle. Paris listened to what I wanted and it came out perfect!! We’ll be back!!

The groomer took great care of my baby, she looked and smelled incredible! We left her for daycare and her mood was incredible upon returning home, compared to high nerves after other daycares we've been too! 10/10 will return!

The groomers here are so personable and great with all the fur babies! My girl did daycare and groom recently- she came back happy and tired from playing and with the cutest handkerchief on! They had her feeling herself, she can’t wait to go back and once her bubba is done with his shots he will be joining her! We have used two of the other major facilities in town for these services and I just can’t speak enough on the loving, welcoming atmosphere they provided to my baby.

Our experience did not meet expectations, particularly regarding communication after services were completed. Information shared afterward about my dog did not align with what I was told at pickup, which was disappointing. Future clients may want to clarify policies and communication expectations in advance.
