Cheryl who runs the place was very rude cussing at me then she called and left threatening messages on my voicemail which I still have. She kept interrupting me and saying I was going to kill the animal I was going to surrender. This lady is an abusive women who needs anger management classes and I definitely don't recommend this place. After I hung up on her for talking to me the way she was she kept calling back and leaving abusive voicemails. If I could post them here I would. She's a feminist which explains a lot.she has also repeatedly posted on her personal fb page and is out of dog food. How can you run a rescue with no food?? Working with Cheryl was an extremely unpleasant experience. She was rude, condescending, and often seemed detached from reality. Communication was confusing and unproductive, and she made several inappropriate and bizarre comments—including personal remarks that were wildly unprofessional. We did our best to comply with all of her numerous and often unreasonable demands, staying patient and cooperative throughout the process. Upon reaching our breaking point with her antics we finally reached out to say we no longer felt comfortable moving forward. We've rescued our 2 pups from Rompin Paws Rescue. They take such care to ensure that their dogs go to homes that have their best interest at heart. Yes the application can take time but if you are serious about loving one of these dogs then it's worth the time and effort. Thank you for all the love and time you put in to helping these amazing dogs find their forever homes. We love our Chase and Reesa!

Cheryl of Rompin Paws runs an excellent rescue. Can’t sing her praises enough…we adopted one chihuahua who’d been fostered and fostered to adopt another chihuahua that had been at the rescue for nearly 9 months waiting for her furever home…during that time Cheryl loved that girl like her own and gave her the best she was able to offer. We appreciate Cheryl’s dedication to dogs and that she earnestly vets all potential adopters to ensure the best pawsible match. She really cares about each animal, what their story is and who their furever people will be. Thank you Cheryl - there’s been nothing more rewarding than watching Liv and Lucy grow and become their cutest and best selves!

We adopted our Lilly Belle about 2 years ago. And even though we had another dog in our home only part time. Rompin paws still let us adopt Lilly AKA(Quake). She knew I needed a companion. Lilly was well taken care for and the made sure she had everything she needed. Sometimes they were so over protective it was a bit insulting. I feel Sometimes they need to have faith in their own processes and research and trust that their baby is truly going to a good home. But other that I highly recommend this is clean animal are well cared for facility.
