Lucy has been a patient at Rocky Mountain Veterinary Rehabilitation for more than a year. At first, I was skeptical about physical therapy for dogs simply because I did not understand the benefits. That changed quickly. Rocky Mountain Veterinary Rehabilitation showed me just how powerful this care can be. Lucy is a 13 year old large dog who had started to show signs of arthritis in her hind legs. Through biweekly laser treatments, sound therapy, and physical therapy, combined with guidance on daily exercises and use of a home laser, the improvement has been remarkable. Today, Lucy has no limp, she is more active, and she is stronger than when she began treatment. When Dixie was first diagnosed with degenerative myelopathy, we were given little more than the diagnosis itself—no resources, no next steps—just an estimated six months to two years left (and, of course, a hefty bill after the MRI and tests—thank goodness for pet insurance). After doing our own research, we found Rocky Mountain Veterinary Rehabilitation Center—ironically, right next door to where Dixie was diagnosed at WRAH—and learned that they specialize in helping dogs living with DM. We have been coming here for about 2 years now. Our lab/gsd mix has torn both shoulders and we do laser and shockwave therapy! The staff is so kind and knowledgeable, and we have noticed a significant increase in his quality of life by both the treatments and the home exercises. Our pups loves it here, the ham baby food is definitely his favorite part!

I don’t know where we’d be without Rocky Mountain Veterinary Rehabilitation! Lotus is an old lady with bad shoulders, hips, and recently had TLPO surgery. They have been so helpful with getting her feeling better! She is slowly walking further every week and even though she is an anxious lady, they are so patient and calm with her that she doesn’t fear going every week. In fact, she now pulls her leash to go in because she’s excited to see them! So glad we found them.

Rocky Mountain Vet Rehab has been nothing short of amazing for my dog. We’ve been coming in for close to a year for a front elbow issue, and Dr. Ali has been so thoughtful, patient, and knowledgeable every step of the way.
