I brought my senior cat to Dr. Winikoff after he was diagnosed with aggressive cancer, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care we’ve received. Dr. Winikoff truly cares about her patients’ well-being, takes the time to educate pet parents, and does so in a supportive, non-judgmental, and honest way. It’s clear she genuinely loves what she does. She responds to messages promptly and is always willing to speak with you if you call with a question. My pets love her and are completely at ease with her, and I feel the same way. Her staff is fantastic as well. I’m so thankful for the time, compassion, and excellent care she provides.

Stay away from this place. It all sounds good, but it isn't what you'll actually experience. My cat was so sick when I adopted her, and Dr. Winikoff never even did any bloodwork. Instead, I was sold expensive vitamins that were well past their expiration date. When I realized how out of date they were and questioned this, I was told that they would still work. When I finally took her to another vet, they couldn't believe the cat was still alive, given how incredibly anemic she was. The new vet couldn't believe I had been referred for a cardiac workup when it would have made more sense to start with the blood work. Long story short, I switched vets. I had my first visit today and there is absolutely nothing holistic about this practice. Vaccines were pushed on me along with front line and rabies, even after explaining of my previous experience with vaccines My first visit came to almost $400 and we got absolutely nothing accomplished with her poor attitude and condescending tone. I most definitely will not recommend this practice and surely won’t be back!

It wasn’t about the appearance of the place which was a run down old house or even the presentation of the veterinarian who was sloppy and dirty looking. It was the demeanor of her attitude towards me and the eye rolling at my over protective nervousness. Not once but 4 or 5 times I brought up the fact that my Frenchie was drowned by a groomer and almost died so her anxiety was extreme. When I made the appointment I told the receptionist and a few more times I mentioned that I was worried that it would escalate. The VET dismissed me and was outright getting annoyed with me during the exam and called my dog dramatic. It was not until my dog started vomiting and diarrhea when I decided to leave In THE MIDDLE OF THE EXAM. Did they charge my card? Damn right they did!!!! 180 dollars!!! I do n

Dr. Winikoff took action and (I truly) believe saved my cat's life when another vet was taking a more "wait and see" approach. I trust her implicitly and I'm grateful to her and her team!
