John is fantastic with dogs! He really understands their behavior, and my dog always comes home happy, relaxed, and well cared for after staying with him. While my pup hasn’t gone through his training yet, I have noticed that he is calmer and more balanced after his visits—clearly a reflection of John’s structured and knowledgeable approach.

John is absolutely amazing! Our girl is 90 pounds and we wanted to make sure she didn't jump on guests and we could walk her in public without any worries. Her heel is on point now and she greets guests with a wag and big smile~ no jumping 😀 My dogs are my kiddos and I don't trust them with just anyone. My husband and I highly recommend him for training and boarding! John's boarding facility is on point. The kennels are roomy and comfortable for any pup. The yard is large with a high fence so you don't have to stress that your dog will hop it. As stated, I love my dogs and with John I know they are safe, and in good hands.

John did such a great job with our girl Maggie! He taught not only her, but myself as well! He's very knowledgeable about dog training! I was worried about her being gone for 2 weeks. But she was busy and had other pups to keep her occupied lol. He sent videos to keep me updated on her progress. She did so well and can't wait to send her back for more advanced training! We sent our Basset Hound for the puppy program . Our main goal was for her to learn how to use the front doorbell to let us know when she needed to go out to potty . I had my doubts she would learn this in two weeks but boy was I wrong , she has been home now for several weeks and has not had one accident in the house . She rings the bell everytime she needs to go out . It has been a lifesaver for us . If your on the fence about the training , go for it he knows his stuff and we will be going back for more advanced training In the future .

John was amazing with my Corgi, Tucker! I boarded him for 6 nights while on vacation. John kept me updated, followed Tucker’s daily food regimen and kept him happy in the wonderful large area he had to run and play in! I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to board or train their animals to Rockhouse K9!
