Rocket Rescue

I adopted my little man from rocket rescue…you just know these people love these animals. I love that the kitty’s are in peoples homes, they can tell you all about their personalities which really helps finding the right match for your family. I’m so in love and so thankful for this handsome kitty/ new coworker.

We adopted our cat from Rocket Rescue, and Linda was the foster person/point of contact. She was kind, communicative, and upheld a high degree of transparency and integrity throughout the process. She seemed to care a lot about making sure he was healthy and ready for adoption. Our sweet lil guy seems well cared for.

Great organization that really cares about the animals they are fostering and placing into homes. I've had several friends find animals through them, and they helped me find a cat that would be a good fit for my situation (I already had a senior kitty and was concerned about finding a second cat that would get on well with him.) Really appreciate the time, energy, and dedication of the rescuers and foster parents who care for all these critters and make giving them a second chance possible.

I felt discriminated against for being a military spouse when inquiring online for a cat. The profile said good with kids, I was told this one might not be good for you because kids, I said I would like to meet the cat to see if he liked us then I was asked insulting, grilling questions, including will we be going or seas or when are we moving again and accusations was made regarding other military families surrendering pets. I personally know a lot of civilians who get and give up a new pet every year while my kids have been waiting for the right timing. So unfair and upsetting.

Linda is wonderful and truly cares about the animals she fosters. She was so kind and informative of the care needed for Bradley and it was truly a pleasure adopting through Rocket Rescue.
