Robinhood Kennels and Cattery

I've entrusted my fur babies to Jay and Linda and other staff, for over 30 years. They came highly recommended when we moved here. They are the best. When no one would care for my Bassett hound who lost the use of her back legs, the staff at Robinhood gladly used my horse girth to walk her. Best experiences there. Would never trust anyone else with my babies. Thanks for always taking care of us and ours.

Super friendly. Spoke with the owner who was able to accommodate me when I needed to board my two dogs. So for that I’m grateful! I had to travel unexpectedly for 10 days. I called my day of pick up to confirm the dogs were bathed as we discussed, but got the voicemail although they were open. Didn’t hear back for well over an hour so I called back and spoke to the owner again. He said they hadn’t bathed the dogs and forgot about it or didn’t write it down. He said he would try to get them done. I needed to pick them up by 1:00pm or be charged another day. When I got there we briefly discussed it and he said they got their bath done. We were so pleased with the care that Robinhood Kennels gave our young Border Collie. When I dropped her off, the kennel attendant made a plan with me for how she would handle any nervousness (mine and our puppy's!) When we picked her up, she was happy and perky. I'm grateful to have found this safe and beautiful setting for our puppy.

We have used Robinhood for many years, first with our medium sized dog and now with our small dog. We have always been impressed with the excellent care they have given our dogs. In addition to the personal attention they give each animal, Robinhood has such a nice setup where each dog has their own run to enjoy the outdoors and their own indoor climate controlled area where they can relax and rest. It’s the best place to call home away from home.

My family has used Robinhood for nearly 40 years. It is an amazing, affordable, and accommodating kennel. It is family run and they remember your pet after the visit (including mannerisms). My dogs board together and love their time there. They are confident and happy and come home like kids after a great day at daycare. I highly suggest Robinhood. This is a kennel. If you have a special needs animal or pet who needs an at home setting you may wish to seek a different environment that visits your home or is more "pet hotel." Otherwise you've found a reliable, family run establishment.
