From start to finish (so, eight sessions, almost all of which I enjoined to rehearse commands and training m.o.’s under Amy Reilly’s seasoned guidance), our then ten month old adopted field retriever acquitted herself beautifully. We are keenly grateful for Amy‘s kindly patient and thoughtful accommodation of us anxious new (at the time) lab owners and for her supremely tactful and ever so warm engagement with our darlin’ four-paw, Bella. We no longer stress the possibility of our pup stealing away with the wolf-pack, harassing wildlife, disappearing around the bend leaving us to wonder if a raccoon is standing on her head in the marsh, . . . Bella trained right up and has since been well met with a life of free ranging (well, off leash - four to nine miles a day). Robin Hill work

I heard about Amy through friends and boy am I glad I followed up. Amy is a confident and skilled trainer, both of dog and owner. My Miller is totally trainable and understood Amy from the get go. Turns out the owner (surprise) needed the training! Amy has helped me immeasurably to better understand my dog and how important my subtle cues to him can be. She is patient, clear and reassuring. Knowing her has changed entirely how I see time out of doors with Miller and so has changed our relationship when we go on those walks we love; a real gift. I need a bit more work and Amy assures we will get there. No doubt! Thanks so much Amy!

Robin Hill Dog Training- I’m not sure where to begin but 5 Stars certainly is an accurate evaluation. Before I purchased my 11/2 year old Black Female Lab I had over the years successfully raised 2 Black Labs male & female. It was pleasurable and easy from the start they were both excellent field dogs & retrievers. My third was a “shock” to the point that I almost gave her away. I had never experienced or heard of “leash aggression” or “ separation anxiety” and these were 2 major areas that had to be addressed before I could even think about “retrieving & field training skills”. Then Robin Hill and trainer Amy came into our lives with her 25 years of training retrievers, not to mention every other breed. After successfully teaching us both how to turn these extreme behaviors around she pr

Amy Reilly is that one in a million animal/dog lover/trainer that we need in this world. She has immense knowledge, yet she's intuitive, every dog gets her particular understanding that's focused on their needs, she gets them. Not to mention our whole families and how to help us continue to train and grow with our pups. Our dog Franky is a magnificent companion now at two years old, all thanks to her training of me! Franky would do anything for her!

We would give Amy/Robin Hill Dog Training a 5++++++. Even though we felt experienced with dogs, having lived with them our whole lives, we were not ready for our newest edition, a super high breed, incredibly athletic, fun loving dog. Amy's approach/technique to training is kind, humane, makes perfect sense, and is learnable. Amy is very personable, forthright and had an intuitive take on a our dog right from the start. Plus, she has a great personality with a relaxed manner and fun sense of humor. Amy taught us how to properly use the e collar (which we rarely need to use now), and other skills that really helped us be able to let our dog run off leash successfully. She has an interesting way in which she understands dogs and that has helped us develop a unique rapport with our dog. Amy
