Rivers Veterinary Urgent Care

I love this place and the staff here. When I put my beloved dog down their kindness and patience met everything in that moment. They were just so gentle and genuinely care about the animals. Not only did I receive a sympathy card in the mail with his paw prints and nose print but I also received his ashes in a beautiful box with some fur and paw prints and name. They took us in right away and gently helped me through the process. I've never dealt with such genuinely thoughtful vets and staff at any other vet or clinic. Every single staff member from the desk to the vet were amazing.

I had high hopes as this place had amazing reviews. While being there everyone was very kind. Its after the appointment that has me upset. I was waiting for very important test results for my cat. I know this sometimes can take time, its the fact they sent the results to my regular vet Saturday and didn't call me til the following Tuesday. When i finally got called it wasn't even by the doctor, it was a receptionist that just said “your cat has X” and nothing else. Gave me no explanation, no guidance, no insight on how to help her or how she got it or even if it was a danger to our other cats. I was a frantic mess trying to google answers. Thankfully my amazing regular vet put me at ease. I did not once feel like me or my cat were a priority or my questions mattered. I understand doctors g

The staff at Rivers were truly amazing. They were kind, compassionate & understanding with our sweet dog & us during the most difficult time at the end of his life. He was given kindness beyond my expectations & dignity. There aren't enough words to express how grateful I am & there aren't enough words to express how much I painfully miss him. A great and communicative clinic for pets. they take walk-ins through a digital appointment system, so you and your pet can wait in your car if there is a rush to be seen. they also will do regular appointments for the same pet over time, I think on Wednesdays. I brought my cat Tuesday there, and she basically thought she was attending some kind of party for her. she came home energized and cared for, UTI confirmed and antibiotics prescribed. The staff are very kind people with deep affection for our animal friends.

So far so good. They got my GSP in on an emergency surgery referral. She's not done yet but hopefully I have a good report. The surgeon was great in a consult before taking her back, as were thr techs.
