Rivers Vet has been amazing with my dogs! One of them had a severe allergy with open wounds from scratching, and within just a week of treatment — including three different medications and special wipes — she showed incredible improvement. Her scabs are falling off to reveal healthy, healed skin underneath! They ran all the necessary blood tests, and for a 12-year-old dog, she’s doing fantastically well. The staff is always warm and welcoming, and the wait time is reasonable. Parking can be tricky, especially on Saturdays since the laundromat next door gets busy, but honestly, it’s a small price to pay for such wonderful care. One staff member even remembered me and my pup from years ago at another clinic when we were dealing with a similar issue — that kind of genuine connection really sa

As a first-time pet parent, I was super nervous and had so many questions, but the entire team at Rivers Veterinary has been amazing every step of the way! They always take the time to answer everything thoroughly and make sure I feel comfortable and informed. You can truly tell everyone there loves animals and genuinely cares, not just about the pets but about their humans too. I’ve been here twice now, and most recently my kitty had his neuter surgery a week ago. They were incredibly informative about what to expect and gave me clear aftercare instructions. I also love the little personal touches, from writing your pet’s name on the exam room door to remembering both you and your pet by name. It’s a privately owned clinic, so it’s a bit pricier than city or state ones, but honestly, it

My chiweenie and I were the 100th patient, so she's become one of their favorites. The first thing I notice about a vet is how the staff treats my pet when we first come in. If they try to drag a dog across the floor by the leash, they lose points from the beginning. At Rivers, the tech got down on the floor and played with her, gave her treats and made friends so she went willingly. She even wants to stop by and visit when we're just walking by! I found them to be thorough, patient, and conscientious. When they extracted teeth, they went over the x-rays with me in detail. When she came down with a mysterious, rare ailment, they kept on it to find an answer. (I'll admit one doctor came up with two wrong diagnoses before the second doctor took over.they saidhewould) They always explain thin

Just switched to Rivers and after one appt for my senior cat, I'm impressed. Everyone is kind and friendly, and I felt like this was the first veterinarian I've seen that truly took my cat's pain seriously. They were easy to get into, quick to respond, and very thorough with all the information/instructions I was given.

I got my little kitten Milo neutered today, and the experience was absolutely wonderful. Drop-off was smooth, they were incredibly communicative about pickup times, working with my schedule, and everyone at pickup was genuinely caring, helpful, and kind. The post-op instructions were clear (and Sam went through them with me to make sure I had no questions!), and the medication was explained thoroughly as well as portioned easy for me. You could really tell how much they cared for Milo—who was understandably terrified. They even created a soft, cozy spot in his carrier to help him feel more comfortable. I think the post experience made him at least know he was loved and cared for there, because now at home he's so cuddly, loving, and relaxed. -- 10/10 would recommend!
