Alex is amazing! We have seen such a huge difference in our foster dog after doing a 4 week board & train with Alex. She’s more confident, and she knows her rules & boundaries much better. We are much more confident caring for her. I highly recommend Alex to anyone looking for dog training, no matter your dog’s issue.

Alex, Drew and the crew at River’s Edge are absolutely amazing. I do not trust anyone else with my pups/kids (all 3 of them). They love going to visit “Auntie” Alex, they are treated like family, get tons of exercise and treats! I always receive picture/text updates on them during their staycations. I can go away for 1 night or 10 and feel completely confident that my babies will be taken care of just like home.

I have an almost two year Shepard who was reactive, anxious, and bad mannered. We did a four week board and train with Alex. I’ve had her back for a little over a week now. Casey is incredible. She walks great on a leash, she no longer barks at every little thing, she plays great with her human sister in the yard now, and above all Casey seems like a happier lady! She’s less anxious and more like just a dog! I’m so happy we made the decision to send her to this facility!

We had been told there was no hope - Our Buddy is a hard case!! We rescued a bundle of love that came with many issues. We sent him away for training, but he still needed work. Truth is, so did we. Through training and patience Alex has taught us and Buddy how to better deal with all of those issues. He can make good decisions and only wants to make us happy. We never imagined he could be so calm and obedient. For a dog that cannot be around other animals, Alex has been able to give Buddy a best friend in Lola! They enjoy walks in the park together and an occasional free run at the dog park, when no one else is around! If it wasn't for the many long hours, months of dedication (a few tears from mom) and Alex's commitment to Buddy, our baby was facing a very sad outcome. We are forever

I met Alex through another trainer. We recently adopted a 3 year old pitbull, and wanted her to have some manners. We began trying group classes, but unfortunately with her that ended up not being an option with how overstimulated she gets in certain environments. We began working one on one, and have only had two lessons so far. The difference in my dog is very encouraging. We ended up not being able to just train obedience, and needed to work on behavioral and anxiety issues. Alex has been there every step of the way, I can text her about any issues and hear back right away with good advice. Our hope is to get her anxiety and stimulation on leash under control, and eventually do obedience. I'd recommend Alex for any of your training needs! EDIT: Sadly, our dog had too many neurological
