Riverdale Grooming has been open for almost 20 years. Two decades of experience, growth, trial and error, and constant improvement. That already says more than any single review ever could. Think about what that means: they’ve gone through the 2008 recession, COVID, staffing changes, management changes, and even location changes. In that time, they’ve had to adapt to new grooming standards, new equipment, new safety protocols, and everything that comes with running a small business in New York. I don’t normally leave reviews, but I’ve had enough of the nonsense I’m seeing here. I’ve been going to Riverdale Grooming for YEARS—not months, not a couple visits, I mean years—and I have NEVER had a single bad experience. Not once. The staff? Absolutely SWEETHEARTS. Miguel, Johana, the reception staff, and every single person I’ve encountered have been nothing but kind, patient, and genuinely caring—not just about the animals, but about the people too. So when I scroll through and see people trashing this place like it’s some corporate villain… like no. Let’s be honest. Half these reviews sound like people walked in with a bad attitude and wanted someone to read their minds and offer free services for breathing. This is a small, local business—not Petco, not some nameless big-box store
