River City Grooming

River has taken care of our dogs for the past two years, and we were thrilled when he opened his new shop. His gentle demeanor healed some of Wrigley’s early trauma that had caused her to fear men. She and her brother, Fenway, get excited just to hear us say his name! As for the grooming itself: River gets them so clean—proving to us each time that our dogs actually have white fur—that we come back from the Bay Area (where there is no shortage of groomers) just to take them to North Street Groomers. Savannah did a wonderful job with my golden doodle. I have had other groomers in the past and she is the best by far! I’m so glad she’s accepting clients again and got her in right away because she is very talented and kind to my girl Molly and gives the best hair cut! Molly leaves happy and not stressed. New to the area and glad to have found this business to take care of my pup. Both me and my dog felt comfortable as soon as we walked in and met River. He took great care of my fur baby — who I barely recognized after her spa day. Super clean, good smelling and happy. My favorite kind of dog. Thanks RCG!!

I have taken my dog here 3 times now! The Owner is very friendly and welcoming. He does an amazing job with her hair cuts and trims! He is also very reasonably priced. She gets a nail trim, a descending cut, and a shampoo for $45! Highly recommend!

My little girl Athena has such trauma with nail trimming. River is absolutely AMAZING he kept her calm and was very patient with her and her anxiety and fear. He is so gentle and amazing with the dremel. Her nails look amazing and she didn’t cry once. 10/10 stars will absolutely be coming here on a regular basis.
