Called with a quick simple question to see if I should bring my cat in and the associate refused to answer saying I must be a client to answer this simple question, and I should book an appointment to bring him in. Seems like a place much more worried about turning a profit than actually caring for the cat.

If you have kitty babies, River City Cat Clinic is hands down the best vet in the Sacramento area. They are a cat only, local, women owned & operated vet clinic. It is currently waitlist only but totally worth it & the list moves fast. All three docs are great but we LOVE Dr. Quinley who is one of the 80 something vets in the country who specialized in cats. Got an anxious or challenging baby, no problem, Dr. Q & the team know to make everyone, human & feline comfortably. LGBTQIA+ friendly. They also focus on giving quality service at a reasonable price & they will always work w/you to look at all the various options w/o pressuring you into spending every last penny you have.
