Over 12 years of servicing Zurina )White Fox Face Pom) and Blue (Maltese Mix). Michelle and her team have been beyond amazing to both my fur babies. One got loose in the neighborhood once and ended up running to Michelle at Rio Grande Groomers. Zurina is no longer with us but blue still enjoys his bath time. Care, Trust, Community, Family. Don't trust your pets to this salon. I recently moved to the area, decided to try them out since they were taking new clients again. We had an appointment on March 20th, 2025 and my dog was stressed and agitated ever since she returned. About $300 in vet fees later she's on antibiotics, ointment, pain and anxiety meds, a cone because she was cut on her arms, legs and her vulva is visibly agitated. She is the sweetest, friendliest little baby and I'm angry at myself for having let her down by taking her to this place. My advice; go to PetCo on San Mateo.

Got my 12 year old GSD in right away for walk-in much needed nail trim. The groomer was so gentle and kind to my old gal. We will definitely come back here for grooming needs :)

Very specifically told them NOT to cut ANY of my dog's hair on her head or tail but to only de-mat the areas as I like her hair long. Not only did they go ahead and cut it anyway, when I complained I was told that the technician said he didn't touch her tail or head with anything but thinning shears (despite it being obvious that her hair had been cut). Then they said since he denied it, what could I expect them to do about it. For 50$ a pop, they need to do the cut that's been paid for and NOT lie about it when confronted on their mistake. WORST GROOMERS IN TOWN! See for yourself...

I’m so happy I found this place. I’ve tried mobile grooming and several around town. Finally found our home for my handicap dog to be loved. My dogs and I left so happy! Thank you!
