We have switched all four of our Labradors to Dr. Govic, and we honestly couldn’t be more grateful. This clinic is absolutely phenomenal. From the moment you walk in, it’s clear that every single staff member is compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly loves what they do. The level of care and attention our dogs receive is unmatched. One of the things I appreciate most is the strong focus on patient education — they take the time to explain everything thoroughly and make sure you feel confident and informed about your pets’ care. We were previously patients at LakeView Veterinary Care, and the difference is night and day. Switching to Dr. Govic has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for our dogs. We recommend this clinic without hesitation.

We had a 10 Lb Shih tzu and since moving to the Twin Lakes he needed his anal glands done, was told by Richmond Veterinarian Clinic he would need a exam before they could do the glands, feeling it to be a urgent matter made the one hour trip and went to North Hoffman Estates Veterinarian Clinic and had the glands done. Keeping the appointment with Richmond Veterinarian Clinic for the exam only to get $200 bill just to be informed his records from the Veterinarian in Hoffman Estates were correct. Then they had recommendations for another $250 in shots. 😪

Dr. Govic is so caring and compassionate! I had been struggling to find a vet who would give my sick rat the time of day. They don’t live horribly long lives, and thus, vet visits seem silly to some. Dr. Govic got my boy in the next day and was so accommodating and kind in answering all of my questions. She made me feel like his little life really mattered to her, which made all the difference. After waiting nearly a month for an appointment, I walked into Richmond Veterinary Clinic only to be greeted with a sour face—as if my presence was an inconvenience. I checked in one of my dogs, and suddenly I’m being bombarded with 20 questions about my other dog, Lulu. When I scheduled this appointment over a month ago, I spent 45 minutes on the phone explaining every detail about Lulu—how she was abused, dumped on my porch, rescued, and how a nurse friend administered her vaccinations.
