Rescue4All

I adopted a dog from Rescue 4 All. A one year old German Shepherd. She had a medical condition called Megaesophagus. I adopted her knowing this and it was a full time job taking care of her. She had to vertical for food to get to her stomach. Most dogs with this condition only live 5-6 years, but Zeeva and I had 12 beautiful years together. We were very bonded and I took her everywhere with me. She never left my side until that awful day that she crossed the rainbow bridge. I mourned for months! I finally got to a point where I was ready to share my love with another dog. So of course, I reached out to Rescue 4 All. They knew me and were amazed at how long she lived, but for some reason they refused to adopt another dog to me. I gave Zeeva a wonderful life, and there are so many dogs that

Rescue4All and Jamie are synonymous with excellence and caring. I adopted Trouper several years ago and the steps taken to make sure that I was worthy of him struck all the right notes. The pups in her rescue are taken care of with the full intention of finding them loving, caring homes. Jamie, the founder of Rescue4All, has poured her heart and soul into the work she does to help save animals. We have adopted from her organization two times, and the lengths she goes to to assure the animals are going to good homes is beyond impressive. She provides tons of information to her adopters regarding training, nutrition, chew treats and toys, gear recommendations, social media accounts to follow for behavioral help, etc. Many, if not most of the dogs Jamie rescues have experienced severe trauma, abuse, neglect and disease. After two years without a pup, we were ready to add to our family, and Jamie at Rescue 4 All was exactly what we needed! We went through the adopter screening process, and while our kids were a bit nervous around dogs, it made Jamie a little cautious herself. To ease everyone into the process, we decided for my husband and I to visit the refuge alone to meet a group of dogs and see if we connected with any of them. Sure enough, Lucy followed us around and instantly bonded with both of us. We decided to do a foster-to-adopt program so our kids could meet her in the comfort of our home, and it turned out to be the perfect match.
