Rescue Right

Penny and her team at Rescue Right are a true blessing. The care, love, and compassion they give to every rescue is nothing short of extraordinary. I can’t even imagine how difficult it is to do what they do every single day, but I am incredibly grateful for them. We adopted our Bernese Mountain Dog from Rescue Right on November 15, 2023. When they rescued him from an Amish puppy mill five months earlier, he was in very poor shape. For the first few years of his life, he lived in a horse stall and didn’t even have a name. Thanks to the dedicated care Penny and her team gave him during those five months, he became healthy enough for us to adopt. My husband and I are so happy we found Rescue Right. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by extremely friendly staff. They truly care about their dogs and cats and want them all to find great homes and do a great job pairing you with the animal who best fits your lifestyle so they can set you up for success! We found our sweet Nash and love him to pieces. They made sure to provide his current vaccinations and history sheet. They made sure that he was thoroughly dewormed and ready to go home. They are very supportive and we know that if we ever need their help they are just a phone call away! We love our little guy and we can’t thank Penny and her staff enough for this little nugget!

I have a tendency to read reviews before I leave one. And I read reviews with one or two stars only. And the truth is I was surprised by some of the reviews for rescue right. That being said, obviously everyone's experiences and expectations are for the most part different. I am in NYC, what we see down here is significantly different from what I'm sure people see in these parts. I try to help any animal that I can when I encounter an animal in need. More often than not, it is a cat. I'm not affiliated with anything, just one man who every now and again helps. A man on my street gave a random girl my number because she needed help with 2 one month old kittens that were doing bad in a south Bronx building. No one in this region would help. I am so grateful to have found Rescue right! Penny is beyond dedicated! A wonderful, caring, empathetic and compassionate person who will do anything to help an animal in need. The team there James, Katy, Regina, Steve and John just to name a few...also show such dedication and compassion for these animals. I was looking for a companion for my 5 year old son, came to Rescue-Right and fell inlove with this little boy!! Penny rescued him from Egypt along with some other furry friends! It is amazing what they do for these animals! Penny and her staff are angels and deeply care about the animals! Amazing!! This is Zaar!! We love him
