Lisa is amazing and gives so many dogs the chance at loving homes, and she'll take care of them as long as it takes to get to that point. We adopted our sweet Eddie (formerly Diggs) from her back in April and I could see first hand how dedicated she is. Yes the process took a while but I kept messaging until I got through. When we went there she made sure our dog and Eddie would be a good fit and she didn't rush us to make sure. Thank you Lisa! We love Eddie so much.

We adopted our year old border collie, Nova, from Rescue Pups 4 months ago. Lisa at Rescue Pups thoroughly screened both myself and my spouse to make sure it was a good fit for both Nova and us. We were invited to Lisa’s property for a meet and greet, with us and our other dogs, which involved us spending much of the afternoon with Nova to ensure she would do well with us and our dogs. It is very evident how devoted Lisa is to the dogs in her care and ensure they are paired with the right adopter.

What a joke! Do NOT try to adopt from here unless you have a ton of time to WASTE. We adopted a puppy 2 years ago and had a great experience. 2 years later tried to adopt an adult Pomeranian and had to answer 1000 questions about every moment of our daily life to ensure we were a good fit (which is fine). She gave us the green light to drive out 2 hours with our 3 young kids to pick up this dog. On the drive out I asked her one simple question about why her “fees” for an adult dog were more than we paid for a puppy 2 years prior, hoping for transparency as I was happy to answer all of her questions about our personal life. We can’t give enough stars to Lisa and all that she does. We got Sherman from her about 6 years ago and visiting her location, you can see all the live she gives these animals. He has been the best thing we have ever done and can’t thank them enough. Lisa you are a saint and Sherman is our joy!

Lisa is amazing advocate for dogs! Our experience with her was top notch. She answered my many questions when we adopted our sweet Maggie Mae. From allowing me to come early to meet her to making the paperwork and adoption day easy and understanding. You can quickly and easily tell her love and passion for these dogs and how much she cares for their well-being and lifetime happiness with the families she matches them with. I remember feeling nervous going through the process because her questions and requirements are thorough. But at the end of the day these sweet doggos are going to their "fur"ever homes and she wants to be sure it's the perfect fit.
