Amanda was amazing! This place truly cares about their reptiles and just made my son’s day. As a kid I always had reptiles and love them. My almost 4 year old wanted a pet and today we got a rescued crested gecko and the tank set up. The experience was so great from beginning to end! My son is so happy! Thank you Amanda!!!

Reptxotica is a store with undeniable strengths, particularly in its selection. They offer an impressive and diverse variety of exotic reptiles that is difficult to find elsewhere: skinks, bearded dragons, snakes, uromastyx, and even rarer frog species. For reptile enthusiasts, simply seeing the range of animals is a draw in itself. Their feeder insects are another strong point. The worms and roaches are consistently fresh and noticeably longer-lasting compared to larger chain stores like Petco or PetSmart, which speaks to the quality of their husbandry and turnover. However, the in-store experience significantly detracts from these positives. I love this place. Owners and workers are very knowledgeable and down to earth. They gave me some really good advice for our crested gecko. I didnt buy dart from repxotica. But I do get my food for him there since the place i bought ours at went ouf of buisness. They have a nice variety of supplies and very friendly.

Hands down the best exotic pet store I’ve been to. Best quality animals and amazing customer service. Don’t waste your time with any of the other reptile stores on Long Island, go straight to Repxotica.

This place is the best of the best. Every member of the staff is not only super knowledgable but also really kind and personable and will take the time to answer all of your questions and go above and beyond to help you. I’ve been wanting a snake for a few years but I am distrustful and couldn’t find someone I felt was reputable. I’m kind of a hater of pet shops in general but this place is like no where else. Facility is so clean, animals ALL look healthy and are clearly well cared for, staff isn’t just a bunch of randos- they are all super brilliant with phenomenal customer service skills. I couldn’t be happier with my experience and my new sweet snake and I will definitely be back for more in the near future. If you’re looking save yourself the time and go straight here.
