Reiss Mobile Vet

Dr. Reiss and his team are amazing! We have one old dog who struggles with car rides and one crazy dog who was such a spaz at another vet's office that they said he would need to be sedated in the future. Dr. Reiss came to our home and was so great with both of them - he was even able to give shots to our crazy dog with no issues - no sedation and no trauma for anyone! I was worried about nothing. He had great suggestions for our old lady's arthritis, and it was amazing how much he could learn about the dogs without them noticing they were being examined. Such a better experience for everyone than an office visit - we will be returning to Dr. Reiss in the future!

Dr. Reiss has been our vet for the past couple of years, caring for our dogs and cats, and I can’t imagine having gone through this last chapter without him. Francis was our 180-lb English Mastiff. When he could no longer walk on December 23rd, there was simply no safe or humane way to transport him. Dr. Reiss came to our home the day after Christmas and helped Francis pass peacefully, surrounded by his entire family, in the place he was most comfortable. It was the best possible way for him to go, and I will always be grateful for that. Throughout our time with him — not just at the end — Dr. Reiss has been kind, thoughtful, and incredibly transparent. He always took the time to explain options, discuss different approaches at different cost points, and never pushed unnecessary care. Yo

Dr. Reiss cared for my older cat for the past 5 years, even though the process of at-home euthanasia. Our cat was with us for 20 years, and the loss has been felt deeply in our household. Dr. Reiss was above and beyond compassionate and explained everything thoroughly to ensure our comfort and understanding before anything took place. He has been completely consistent in his care these past 5 years, but this last appointment was obviously especially critical, and his bedside manner was nothing short of exactly what a family would need in this extremely difficult moment. He took care of every aspect so that we could completely focus on our last moments with Sebastian, and then handled his precious body with the utmost dignity and respect to all of us. Dr Reiss is the most caring and professional Vet we have ever worked with for our dogs and cats. We love the fact that he is mobile and can come to our house in special care situations. He is so well respected that he stays booked up but still tries to make accommodations.

I have lived in several states and had many pets over the years... so I've gotten to experience a number of different veterinary practices. Dr. Reiss is absolutely the best, hands down. He treats our pets like we do - family members.
