If I could give a 0 star, I would. It’s taken me 2.5 years to write this review because I was so devastated at how they destroyed my dog’s coat. He is a double coated cocker spaniel/lab mix. I took him to get groomed May 2023. When I dropped him off, I explained I wanted a short trim (NOT SHAVED). And showed a picture of what he usually gets done. When I picked him up 8 hours later, he was shaved to the skin. 1) double coats should NOT be shaved 2) no dog should be shaved unless explicitly stated they want to be shaved. When I called them about this (because I was so distraught when I picked him up I couldn’t even form a sentence) they told me “when people ask for it short they usually mean shaved”. WHAT?! We were looking for a place that we were comfortable taking our Bernadoodle that we knew he would like, and would take care of him. We couldn't be happier with Reidville Road Pet Salon. They treat our dog with the same care as if he were their own, and he loves going there. He hops up on the grooming table, and is ready to go. Large dogs can be a problem for some groomers but not here. You can count on getting great care at reasonable prices at Reidville Road Pet Salon!

Friendly and very helpful and caring. The first time I left my dog here soon after they called me about her separation anxiety and they let her roam around the office area to let he feel better. Would definitely recommend.
