We have been thrilled with our experience with this clinic. We’ve seen both Dr Khela and Dr De and they both have been thorough with examinations and in educating us about how to care for our large breed puppy and eye care referrals. The support staff are also wonderful - asking for preferences, transparent in costs, and everyone seems to deeply loves animals. Samples/labs have been done quickly and they seem to have more appointments available than other clinics. Our family looks forward to calling Ravenna Animal Hospital our home base for animal care for many years to come!

I came in only to get a prescription for routine flea and worm prevention for my dog, Ewok, who has no health issues. Instead, I was told the vet would not prescribe it unless I paid for a heartworm test related to a trip to Florida TWO YEARS AGO (Feb 2024) — completely irrelevant to my visit. As a result, I was forced to pay $105 for a consultation plus $65 for testing just to obtain a basic prescription that Ewok has been on before. The actual “exam” lasted maybe two minutes. The vet walked away without saying anything while I was setting up autoship on Chewy, and I had to call her back just to ask whether my dog was even okay. There was no explanation, no communication, and no follow-up. On top of that, their in-house medications are marked up by around 60% compared to online pharmac

Had our first visit with my scared rescue dog, and I’m impressed so far. Dr Mortimer & Jasmine were caring and professional (Dr. Mortimer got down on the floor and fed my pup treats the whole time). We decided to make this visit a “happy visit” and will return next week for vaccines. I appreciate the patience this takes!

Waffles and Sesame have been here since 2024 with Dr Neal. We love everyone there and how compassionate everyone is towards my reactive dog, Sesame. I appreciate how caring Dr Neal is towards Sesame’s behavior issues, as well as health issues. Waffles the corgi always have a blast there, and is always so chill for nail trim by Leslie. Bridget and Michael are always supportive and quick in helping me getting refills for Sesame’s medication.

We had a bit of a scare when our dog ate some chocolate, and we urgently called the clinic—even though our dog wasn’t a patient there. Despite that, they were incredibly kind and helpful over the phone. They carefully assessed the situation by comparing the amount of chocolate consumed with our dog’s weight and provided clear guidance on what steps we should take. Thanks to their advice, our dog was completely fine, and we were able to stay calm and reassured. We truly appreciate their professionalism and kindness!
