Rau Animal Hospital

A stray dog wandered onto our porch, and my wife reached out to see if they could check for a microchip. They responded right away and said yes. I brought the dog in, and their team quickly scanned for a chip, confirmed the registration, and contacted the owner. They kindly held onto the dog until the owner arrived. Throughout the entire process, the staff was incredibly friendly and showed genuine care—not just for the stray we brought in, but for every animal that came through their doors.

Rau has always treated my cat as if he was their own. They've taken very good care of him and given me good advice on several of his problems. Edit: We got a kitten recently and Rau has been nothing but amazing getting him his shots and making sure he grows up healthy. Rau's facilities are always really clean and well maintained. The staff is always really friendly and very helpful. Dr Murphy has been really friendly and helpful and was able to answer all of my questions. She gave me some great recommendations for cat cardiologists when our kitten needed an ultrasound.

We went to Rau for our puppy's first vet visit. They were very friendly, very knowledgeable and very patient with all my new puppy mom questions. The process even with all the covid precautions was extremely easy and efficient. We were very pleased!

We first came to Rau Animal Hospital because they were the only vet in our area where we could get our cat, Cooper, seen on what turned out to be his last day with us. The staff was so kind and caring and took such good care of our little friend who was in so much pain by the time we made it to their office. When we finally felt able to open our hearts and home to another furry friend, there was no other choice in our minds who our veterinarian would be. Rau has a great, devoted, knowledgeable staff who go the extra mile to make sure you and your pets are well taken care of and satisfied with their services. I’ve had dogs for over 60 years since the day my grandpop brought home a little toy poodle for me when I was 7 years old and I’ve been to many veterinarians over many years but there is no place like Rau Animal Hospital. The expertise and the caring attitude of everyone - the staff, the nurses, and the doctors- is amazing. I was originally referred to Rau around 15 years ago by Rockledge Veterinary clinic for specialized dental surgery for one of my dogs and have been fortunate to have made them my only source of vet care over the past 10 years. The five dogs I had at the time of my first wife’s passing were all taken care of by Rau - through cancer and tumor treatment, kidney disease, bladder stones, and dental surgery, and when necessary euthanasia- the Rau doctors and nurses did the utm
