My chihuahua is 15 years old and I’ve been going here when he was only 8 weeks old. We were referred from my college ex roommate who had a beagle for 8 years at that time. It was close to where we lived and inexpensive. Fast forward 15 years later, they are still the best. Their prices are competitive but their service has been the same, if not, better. The parking lot is tiny with about 10 spots and it’s really tight. Best to reverse in. Due to COVID, there’s a sign that asks you to text a number with your pet’s name, reason for the visit, your name and what color and make of your car. They are wonderful & caring!!! Dr Cooper and her staff have been caring for our pets for years. They recently provided end of life care for our beloved cat Bowie. We are so appreciative for all of their efforts and compassion.

I've been taking my animals (cats and dog) to Rancho Mesa Animal Hospital for about 15 years now, they have great caring staff. Veterinarians care for the wellbeing of the pets and don't over-prescribe the drugs, and never over advise on various procedures, I never feel pressured, which is great, and is one of the main reasons why I go there, I know they are not in it to make extra money (I've dealt with some pet clinics in the past, who were prescribing more treatments to get more money from pet owners) Their hours of operation are great, 6 days a week, except Sunday. One challenge I have, is they are so busy that sometimes it is hard to reach them, but they do call back pretty quickly if you leave them a message.
