My handsome man had a terrible scare that all male cat owners are afraid of… a urinary blockage. Radford Animal Hospital quickly got me into their facility, assessed him, and jumped into action. Their compassion, knowledge, and care went above and beyond. They quickly got him fixed up and taken care of with medicine and sedatives. He’s home now, very loopy and drugged but seems to be doing well. I’m keeping an eye on him and will monitor him while still administering him medication. If your male cats seem in distress, don’t wait. These blockages can be fatal. Although they can’t tell you, there will be signs - listen to your gut and don’t chance it. It is so great to go to a somewhere that actually remembers my cat by name. The care is excellent. They have answered every question I asked with an honest answer. Great care, great staff, wonderful atmosphere and Dr. Hansen rocks. She did acupuncture on my kitten. Suzie went from paralyzed back legs to walking and playing. Highly recommend the Vet. Office.
We've had great experiences with Radford Animal Hospital over the past 4 years. We've entrusted both Dr Claffey and Dr Hansen with the care of all three of our dogs, and have always felt like we were in good hands. Both Dr Claffey and Dr Hansen are dedicated and kind people. Jesse is a great assistant as well. We'd highly recommend them.
I brought my chinchilla here today and I am so happy with the care she received. After hours and hours of searching for someone to take my chin, thankfully i was pointed in their direction. The doctor and nurse was so helpful and thorough. The prices are affordable and the people are so pleasant ☺️
We love boarding our dog here. She is well cared for, and in a safe environment. This is the only place she looks forward to staying. We also use their vet services and have been very pleased by their care and responsiveness.
