Raaw Energy Dog Food

I am certified in Canine Raw Nutrition and made my own meals in the beginning (15 yrs feeding raw) I have been using Raaw Energy for over 8+ years purchasing 300-600 lbs monthly for my Olde English Bulldogges and have always had a well balanced healthy product. I have full confidence in their rectification of the current FDA and gov. Compliance issues as Raaw Energy is committed to the benefits of feeding a natural healthy diet for our pets. FYI Proctor & Gamble just recalled 3 cereals e.g Cheerios it is the reality of the food industry that issues occur and are rectified. Check the recalls on kibble as well.

I have been using Raw Energy for my 2 bullies ( Apollo and Rocky ) for 8 years. They love the green Tripe and the big beef marrow bones. People are all very friendly and helpful. I lost Apollo last year but he remained in good health until his sudden passing in January 2025. We welcomed Enzo, a fawn Cane Corse in Feb 2025. He has been on the Beef Agility and Green Tripe since we have him and he devours it every time it is complete nutrition for his growing needs ( I also add egg with the shell for extra nutrition, greek yogurt and fresh sardines because he loves them ). This food almost killed my dog literally!!! Severe food poisoning, The Emergency Veterinarian hospital tested his stools, and it showed every possible bacteria From salmonella to Campholibactor to E. coli to Clostridium perfringens to name a few. I immediately contacted Raaw Energy and asked them to do a recall, on this food, I called half a dozen times sent numerous emails !!! I never got a return phone call or an email which is nothing unusual because this is not the first time I’ve had to contact them in regards to rancid or spoiled food! I truly believe their motto is if we don’t get back to you you’ll go away because I have several people that have contacted them or should I say try to contact them in regards to spoiled food or delivery problems never receive a return phone call or

We were loyal customers and even considered sticking with them after the recall issue if they could resolve their issues. However, their unprofessional customer service is the reason why they lost us as customers. When I finally heard back from them about the recall, I had some important, reasonable, and calm questions about the recall that she had trouble accurately answering (about recall dates, a refund and if other food was at risk of being contaminated), all while being totally dismissive and rude right off the bat and for the whole call. This does not seem like a company that actually cares to survive this recall disaster as their customers are the only way to make that happen. Super unfortunate.

The dog food is good (most of the time). However, the tubes often come with holes or are just busted open. So when they thaw, the juices run out. Also, there is often a ton of frozen, red myoglobin juice in between the tubes in the box, which creates a mess when you open it...caution where you set the boxes so as to not get that stuff everywhere. Lastly and most importantly: terrible customer service. If you try to reach out to their email/number for any order issues, you have better odds bottling the fart from a cheetah sprinting at full speed than you do talking with them. And I'm not driving to their place for a refund. It is beyond me how they function for so long with such awful customer relations, especially for a product that is so expensive. Buyer beware!
