Quinebaug Kennels: QK Dogs

Our pup Scout started her training at QK. The attention and care they give the dogs is great. Scout continues to work on her skills and is doing awesome thanks to the foundation she received at QK

Our new pup, Maiya, which QK Dogs helped us find, completed the 6 week program and is a star! She is great in the home and the field. The team provided excellent training for Maiya and invaluable support for us as owners. We could not be happier with the results. Highly recommend QK Dogs!

We started working on about kennels after adopting a dog from the Connecticut Humane Society. We saw results after the first session. Three months later, we have a dog that we can take with us anywhere we go a restaurant New York City and we’ve just started working with them on training for hunting.

Jennifer, I am writing you to thank you for the incredible job your team has done with my guy Chase. He came to you as a high energy, and slightly out of control, Border Collie pup at 5 months old. Chase has lost none of that energy but he listens and obeys the commands he was taught. A sharp "Chase here" and he runs to my side with excitement waiting for his next command. I am walking with him off leash in busy areas and the command, "Chase heel" keeps him right there on my left leg. We go on nature walks together and I have no worries that he would stray to far. He continuely checks in with me (turns and looks at me) to be sure he's not to far away. A nod of my head let's him know all is fine and he can continue his exploration When I wrote to you applying for this training I said that

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at QK Kennels! The 6-week training program transformed our vizsla puppy, Nellie, into a well-behaved, responsive, and confident dog. Thanks to the training, we can now walk around the house without a shadow, and off-leash hours in Central Park are amazing for her and us. She is still a 6 month old, high-energy puppy but she now understands what is expected of her, thanks to the QK training! Carlos and all the trainers were fantastic — always responsive, on top of any health concerns, and excellent communicators. On pick-up day, Carlos spent so much time making sure we felt comfortable continuing Nellie’s training at home. We’re so grateful for QK and can’t recommend them highly enough!
