My Jack Russell had a mass in his neck I took him to the Quarryville office to see Mary Jane Potter for a second opinion. She was down to earth, she was good with my dog, her prices were reasonable and she doesn’t just find things to charge for. She said to bring him back in a few months it wasn’t an emergency. So she wasn’t just trying to get money. A day or two later I got a call asking how he was doing on the meds they gave me for him. When I said I didn’t get any. They realized they forgot to send them, they told me to pick them up at my convenience no charge because it was their mistake. I took him for surgery a few months later everything went great. I had an estimate ahead of time it came in lower than that, Mary Jane talked to us when we got there told us to skip the biopsy for now

Dr. Potter is the best vet I ever came across. She cares deeply. Her staff is great. I have had cats most of my life and no one comes close to this vet and her crew. Do not hesitate to use her office. You will not regret it.

One star because I can’t choose zero. Potter was extremely condescending. 400.00 for a very routine visit and issue. If you’re looking for kindness and compassion and REASONABLE care for your pet family, this is not the place to choose. I hear good things about All Creatures in Rising Sun. I’ll be going there, hopefully you do too.

Dr. Potter is very knowledgeable, compassionate and friendly she has a true love for animals. On Tuesday 12/30 I called Quarryville Veterinary Center to get an appointment for my Doberman who had X-rays at my Veterinary office on 12/29 that I’ve been going to for 20 yrs and told me that if she didn’t pass it overnight to take her to emergency . The X-rays showed an obstruction in her tummy, I called Dr Potter’s office and explained what was going on was told they had a full schedule but would talk to Dr Potter after hearing of my emergency, I was given an appointment for that afternoon. When I arrived the entire staff treated my Doberman Gianna with so much love and patience, which calmed my own anxiety during a stressful time. What a great, professional experience. All staff were friendly. Dr Potter is very thorough, and does a great exam. Very happy with our visit.
