I found this place while looking for a pup for my son and I thought that it looked like a great place from the reviews and the website and the happy fur babies they have on their page however that seem to be prejudice in my opinion. both my sister and I filled out at least 10 applications for 10 different fur babies (some of which are still on the website and still haven't been adopted) and I was denied for all of them regardless of the fact that I own my own home, it's only two people in my home and I have a great stable job. I'm not sure what their protocol is for adoption but from the applications I have filled out it seems like it shouldn't be this hard especially if you are more than capable of loving and caring for a puppy and willing to give one a stable home and that they have cont

I filled out the form to request help finding a home for a stray dog I found. I was only requesting help finding an adopter and vetting them as the dog I found is a pit bull. I am more than willing to foster until adopted. It has been 4 weeks since I submitted the form and also sent an email after being told by my sister who volunteers weekly for them told me the form was broken. I have also sent a follow up email letting them know I had already gotten her fixed and gotten her vaccines. I also left a voicemail. I have received no response at all, not even a response to tell me they're unwilling to help. This is unacceptable and I believe 4 weeks is more than patient as I know rescues can be overwhelmed. I’ve adopted, fostered, and volunteered with PHR and they are wonderful! They are a foster-based rescue, so the dogs are getting wonderful in-home socialization. That does mean they are limited on the number of dogs they can take in at any time, but they take incredible care of the dogs in their program! As a foster, I love that they have a good application review process and don’t do same day adoptions. They do incredible work!

Absolutely the best experience with Puppy Haven. Every step in the process was guided & thoughtful. They really care & have followed up consistently. Winter is home because of Puppy Haven Rescue. Couldn't recommend them more highly.

This place is disgusting. They're not rehoming these animals, they're selling them at $400 . They will tell you it's because they have their shots and blah blah blah but all of the other rescues and shelters make sure they're up to date and fixed too at $70. It's Gross that they would rather hoard them and keep them caged before they give up a damn dollar and see them get a good home. Y'ALL NEED JESUS SERIOUSLY.
