Prideful Grooming

It was a great experience for me and my kiddos, they look amazing and were so calm after picking them up, compared to previous experiences where they come home all stressed and anxious after grooming. Soo happy and definitely our new groomers.

I’ve been taking my dog here for the past 2 years. I can’t say enough great things about this place. The owner, Margarita is the sweetest and is so passionate about what she does. She genuinely cares for your dog as if it’s her own. I never worry about my dogs safety here, and I feel confident that he is in good hands. She communicates effectively and is able to squeeze us in even with such short notice. Thank you so much Margarita for always making Russell look and smell amazing!! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a grooming service!

We just moved to Clifton, New Jersey from New York. With all the packing and such, our Shih Tzu was well overdue for a haircut. When I searched “well rated groomers near Clfton ,” Prideful Grooming came in with a 4.9 approval rating! I called Marguerita to make an appointment and she was very friendly and accommodating on the phone. Scheduling was easy and we were able to get Leo in within a few days. Well, we have found our new favorite groomer! We took Leo in this morning and, within two hours, he was all spruced up and looking like a new man. Post OK The most important thing is that he was happy and relaxed when we picked him up. He wasn’t nervous or stressed at all. THAT, to me, is the best review of all!

I love this place! Margarita is such an amazing groomer! I have been taking my dog for a year now and they never disappoint! They leave coco (my dog) looking very handsome and coco enjoys getting groomed there. Coco is a shy dog but since day one he did very well, mostly because Margarita was very attentive to my needs and asked questions to accommodate to coco and give him a positive experience.

Would not recommend. Very expensive for no reason. Lazy job. Granted my golden doodle did have knots. I understand if a dog is matted they have to shave down. However to take the easy way out and shave a dog down for $165 is insane. Couldn’t even show face when I picked up my dog because they knew this cut for $165 is insanely absurd. Also my dog had a small cut on his chest. Was very fearful to go inside. The owner gives bad energy. I returned 3x because I thought maybe I was being judgmental. But not at all!!! Trust your instinct. And avoid getting your dog abused and botched. I attached a before and after photo. Will do a chargeback since the business has the audacity, so will I :)
