The man has no idea what he’s talking about when it comes to birds. He laughed at a balanced diet with pellets, fruits, and veggies and tried to push his high fat seed idea which any avian veterinarian will tell you is the most terrible diet and will shorten lifespan. I wouldn’t purchase any food item from this person much less allow any procedure such as wing or nail trim. Please be very careful.

Yes it’s an old Millvale storefront, rough, and inside is small and crowded some, cluttered up a bit, but that’s because all the time and love go into the birds and educating customers! I am so glad we went! I took my daughter with me and our two conures. Their claws were very long and I wanted to clip their wings and ask about their beaks. This older gentleman that has devoted his life’s work to his store, was amazing! He knows birds like the back of his hand. He knows how to handle them and taught us how to better approach them and not be scared of bites. He taught us how to hug and pet them… which made our conures so very happy! Th

The knowledge this man has, is a game changer to any bird owner. He sat down with me and in one day improved the lives of my birds so much!

I have been taking my Yellow Naped Amazon parrot there for many years. He's very knowledgeable about birds. I have a bird named Larry Bird. She had been acting strange and I told him about her behavior and he said, I hate to tell you, but Larry is a girl!!!! The ABBA bird food is good. He knows how to clip wings and nails. I highly recommend Pretty Birds!

Got our baby cockatiel from here who turned out to be a bird version of a human. The reason for that is she is too smart to be a bird. The store has the best bird foods for cockatiel and other birds.
