Preferred Frenchies

Jay, Rosie and the PF family provided nothing short of an amazing experience! We recently lost one of our English Bulldogs & decided to start looking into this breed. We visited 6 other French Bulldog breeders in the area that day with Preferred Frenchies being the first stop. We really had no reason to leave without a puppy. First off, the space where the puppies & parents are housed is amazing & super clean. You could literally sleep on the barn floor. A couple months after our family lost our rescue of 10+ years, we unexpectedly started to fall in love with the French Bulldog. Extremely Concerning Experience — Ongoing, Life-Threatening Health Issues in Puppy from This Breeder In January 2023, I purchased a male French Bulldog named Dante from this breeder, born to Hans and Dana. I was provided with a health guarantee and records claiming Dante—and his parents—were free of genetic or congenital issues. In October 2023, Dante experienced a sudden, life-threatening medical crisis. He was hospitalized for 10 days with severe anemia and required multiple blood transfusions. Vets suspected a hereditary autoimmune disorder (likely IMTP or Evans Syndrome), though a definitive diagnosis wasn’t possible due to his age. The episode cost roughly $3,000 abroad—treatment would have exceeded $15,000 in the U.S. The breeder assured me this was unprecedented in his bloodline.
