Dr Yelk and staff were very attentive to our sick pup, which we were super stressed over! 😩 They got him in right away the next morning and were very thorough! He's on the mend and doing much better!

Dr. Yelk, Tim and all the staff are fantastic! They have supported my animal family for multiple years. Today they worked in my sweet girl who's not been feeling well. I appreciate the care, attention, empathy and patience.

Dr. Yelk has been wonderful for our Minnie and Miles. We are so grateful! Our vet in Madison closed up years ago, so we bounced around a little after that. It was so great to find an incredible vet right here in Poynette. The staff is so amazing! Dr. Yelk has even fit us in when an emergency visit was needed, which we appreciate so very much! A special thank you to Bonnie as well! She is always so positive and helpful when I call or email. It makes my day! Thank you all! :)

We desperately tried to obtain essential health records travel with our 3 dogs. Long story short, Poynette Vet Clinic refused to give us or another vet clinic any records, at any price. My pups suffered & I paid >$1,700++ to unnecessary repeat x-rays and vaccines. Our Bella, a standard poodle, had to undergo unnecessary surgery because Poynette refused to share records with the Lodi Veterinary Clinic. Lodi told us this was “typical” for Poynette. Interestingly, Dr Yelk first cared for our dogs at Lodi. Lodi shared our records when she moved to Poynette. Why not reciprocate? Dr Y published Lilly’s private health information below, for all google review readers. More than anything else, I was devastated at her claim below that a person became suicidal after she (Dr Y) read my review OUT L

I just called Poynette Veterinary Care for a med refill for my 17-year-old miniature dashchund, Marlee. When looking up the phone number I saw the reviews in Google and figured it's time I do my part ;). We have been using Poynette Veterinary Care for years and multiple animals and have always had wonderful care. The staff is top notch and Dr. Yelk is the best. Marlee has had some specialty care which required us to go the the UW Vet School and there was never any issue with communicating records, diagnosis or care needs either way. I would highly recommend using the Poynette clinic without hesitation. In fact, even though we have moved some distance we will always come back.
