Powell: Animal Shelter

I went into Powell, Wyoming shelter today to find a new fur baby, and the lady in there was not helpful whatsoever. She seemed as if she did not want to help these animals Find a home. I asked her if this poodle was good at walking on a leash and she told me that they don’t walk their dogs on leashes, and before that she told me that this dog had been there for years and every time she tried to put a leash on her or get in the cage with her, she would run away. I don’t know how she would know that if she doesn’t leashes on the dogs there, but that’s what she told me and she also told one of my friends that tried to go in there to get a cat that she can’t bring a cat home to another cat. witch was BS!

I went in to adopt a kitten filled out an application never got a call back when I called they said it was still under review and never heard anything since even after giving them my Boyfriends number

We got the sweetest pair of kittens here! The staff is so kind and friendly, and very obviously love the animals. They take great care of them, too. It's small but clean, give them a shot!

The Powell Animal Shelter works off of donations. They are a non profit who is taking care of people's stray cats and dogs. The animals are all inoculated and ready to be adopted by the right person.
