Powder Mill Animal Hospital

Powder Mill staff have been wonderful with my dogs! Even if my dogs are a little nervous, they're treated with patience and kindness. One of my dogs needed a dental cleaning and teeth extraction last year and they took great care of him. As a bonus, they accept Pet Assure!

For over seven years now, Powder Mill Animal Hospital has cared for six of my dogs. Their quality of care, level of professionalism and genuine compassion is nothing short of brilliant. Dr. Field has been so amazing and supportive of me and my sometimes unconventional ways, never making me feel bad for questioning everything. Recently, Dr. Margolis treated my dog Miggy and I was in awe of the way she interacted with him, her extensive knowledge and her patience with my never-ending questions. Every member of the staff at PMAH is warm, friendly and kind, making each visit a most pleasant experience.

I bring my cat here and have had a great experience. We especially love Dr. Margolis. She's kind and compassionate and you can tell how much she cares for and delights in her patients. There's a designated waiting area and exam rooms for cats only, and they have Feliway diffusers in the exam rooms as well as treats at the ready to make sure kitties are as comfortable and at ease as can be.

Dr. Margolis is a true superhero. I have a very anxious dog who cannot go to the vet without being sedated, and even the process of getting him sedated can be challenging. She is incredibly compassionate, patient, and caring, and always takes such wonderful care of my dog. She has figured out how to make the entire appointment as smooth and stress-free as possible, and I can’t thank her enough. When he was having stomach troubles, she would even talk with me on the phone and ease my worries whenever I called. I cannot recommend her enough and would never go anywhere else.

They have been wonderful with all my animals! I am a retired veterinary technician and it was hard for me to trust any veterinary hospital with my animals without my being part of the behind the scenes process. I have liked all the vets that I have seen there but I like to have one who is my animals regular vet. Dr Kang has been wonderful and has been willing to do procedures that many vets would shy away from since I have had several old animals with heart problems as well as animals that have odd behavioral issues from their past history. She has a very nice way with the animals and uses low stress ways to handle them, as do all the people on the staff. I am so glad that I found them!
