Linda is an amazing dog trainer and a truly caring person. She spoke to me on the phone at length before I got my puppy and really calmed my nerves. Her training is tailored to your needs and wants and is done with sensitivity, creativity, and positivity. I took one of her puppy classes which I found extremely helpful. I really enjoyed working with Linda and highly recommend her!

(My dog and) I have been working with Linda for nearly the past year. My dog was a rescue with severe fear & anxiety (towards everything, you name it!) and Linda came highly recommended by many in my area. She set us on the right path, teaching me to learn his signals and how to slowly introduce him to the world around him. My new favorite pastime is figuring out what I can teach him to do with a clicker! In addition to her work with us during sessions, Linda is always very responsive to my detailed emails (seriously, they can go on for pages and pages!) which is a huge comfort knowing she is always there when needed. She even walked over one afternoon just after a blizzard last winter, after I emailed her in a panic that I couldn't get my dog's collar back on upon returning from the

Shortly after adopting my now 10 year-old Boxer/Pittie mix from a crowded public shelter I contacted Linda at Positive Canine Training to help Benny start his new life off on the right paw. Having met Benny while volunteering, I knew he was a good dog - Linda helped make him a great dog. We now have wonderful, miles-long walks every day without Benny dragging me down the street. His anxiety over my occasional absences is nearly gone after Linda gave me the tools to help manage his fears, behavior and emotions. And to my delight, Benny is now comfortable in the company of other dogs, which gives us a lot more freedom to arrange dog play dates and vary his daily routine. Most of all, Benny is a more balanced and happy dog. Thanks to Linda he has acclimated quickly and successfully to his n

I first contacted Linda a few months after I adopted my good buddy Artie. He had bad separation anxiety due to the pandemic lockdown. I couldn't even turn the door handle without him starting to worry. It became a hinderance on my daily living, a 15 min errand became a thing I had to plan to have a sitter or I couldn't go. I hung up from the first call with Linda relieved. She immediately understood the situation and reassured me that it was common, especially at that time during the pandemic, and that in a few months he could learn to be relaxed when alone. I was suspicious of the timeframe, i expected it to be a long and difficult process. She was so right that I wish I could think of a stronger way to say it. This week, Artie graduated from separation anxiety and can be alone with no

I was desperate for help with my 6 month old lab. Linda came to my house for our initial meeting and was kind and patient taking time to evaluate our needs. Just at the first meeting she gave me great tips that I used and still use today. We went to the group training and it was a wonderful environment. My pup was very hyper but Linda and her assistant helped me so much. We worked on so many behaviors and interacting with other dogs. We went outside and walked our dogs which was very helpful training for me. Linda encourages the entire family to get involved with the training which is so important. I really appreciate the training I received along with my dog. He is a happy , well behaved ,friendly dog. Thanks to Linda and her team.
