Posh Pups By Andrea Pet Resort

We board our dogs here at least once a year (for several nights), typically more. I appreciate that I can leave a comforter for my pups to sleep on while they are here and it comes back washed. They are organized, responsive, friendly. My dogs don't reek of urine and Fabuloso, like they would after staying at a different facility. It would be nice to have a decreased rate for an additional dog with the same family (specifically if they are boarded in the same kennel, as mine are), or some sort of $ off when a dog stays for a certain number of accumulated nights. Perhaps even the option to buy a boarding package for however many nights up front to receive a slightly lower rate. Just a fun idea for returning customers.

Let me preface by saying this wasn’t our first time utilizing this business. Our initial boarding (2 days) went well. Our nail trims are also great. However, I recently boarded my puppies at Posh Pups by Andrea for 12 days and had a different experience. When I picked them up I was told they both ate mulch, and would need a bland diet for a few days since they now have “a little bit of diarrhea”. It’s been 2 days and they both still have the runs. I return home with their belongs to find one of my puppies has chewed through/ate pieces of his bowl and his feeding stool. It was never mentioned by the kennel that it was left in his kennel long enough for him to eat pieces of them. They simply handed them over tied in a plastic bag and that was that. If I could leave no stars I definitely would! I’m not a first time client, I’ve brought my dog there Bella for almost 4 years now, and in this 4 year span I think my dog has stayed there a total of 5 times. I just came back from a 1 week cruise to pick my dog up from there today, not quite sure how I forgot the pick up time in the afternoon on Sundays is 4pm-5pm… but I did. I admit I made a mistake, but in my defense I looked online at Posh Pups website for boarding pick up times just to make sure prior to picking up my dog. No pick up times to be found, only prices were shown. I tried calling 4 times, and left a voicemail. I even emailed Andrea, but no response. I thought the pick up time was 2pm-4pm so I decided to drive there and got there a little after 2pm. Andrea has advertised that

Andrea and her staff are incredible! We are Comfortable and Confident boarding our dogs here because they make a point to form a relationship with our dogs. We tried boarding our 2 American Staffordshires at other places and it didn’t work out as we have one with high anxiety. Andrea worked with her on our first visit and has really helped us in subsequent visits to get our dog out of her shell and improve her socialization.
