From our first visit, Port St. John Veterinary Hospital made us feel comfortable and cared for. They were so gentle with my cat that choosing them for our new puppy was an easy decision. Dr. Glenn and the entire staff have been kind, patient, and professional every time. Truly grateful to have found such a caring team.
Visiting the area— but PSJ Vet was my vet for years when I resided in cocoa Fl. They were able to get my dog in quickly even though they had never taken care of her before. We had been traveling when she became VERY sick. Fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea. She was dehydrated, lethargic, not eating or drinking. ( food is her most favorite thing in the world!). Anyway you get it— she was close to not making it. They took her in and the staff and Doc quickly assessed as gentle as they could. Lilly knew they were trying to help her. They kept her for the day with IV fluids and IV antibiotics. They were very thorough and quick to respond to her every need. I’m so happy to say that was two days ago and she’s on the mend. I gave 2 stars for the employees but can’t give more stars due to the prices. $30 for a nail trim when I just paid $350.00 for my dogs yearly checkup and vaccines. Petco clipped her nails and buffed them for $14. They used to be free with the yearly checkup. That doesn’t even include the monthly flea and tick chews which are $500 for a years worth. And that’s for a healthy 5 year old. It’s sad that people have to give away their beloved pets because of the expenses. I’ll never give away my girl but due to the growing cost I can’t afford to get a friend for her. That’s sad. Looks like I’ll have to change my vet of 15 to 20 years to the Humane Society which is much more affordable.
Kind and compassionate. Humanely euthanized our duck. Fair pricing. Loved the staff! Loved the doctor. We will be using them going forward.
