Best vet around. We moved to Ankeny and needed a new vet. We tried one on the South side of town and while they were good they were insanely expensive. They wanted nearly$1500 for a beagles tooth cleaning. We were like what the heck. Since we live in the North side the polk city vet was just as close. Omg was it a great choice, the tooth cleaning was under $400 and they did a great job. The vet is great he spends time with you talks to you and gets to know your pet and you. We absolutely love this clinic. All the employees are so nice and helpful. They are a true gem. They also don't suggest anything that is not needed. Our beagle has a fatty tumor and instead of doing a surgery he recommended we leave it since it stopped growing and wasn't cancerous. He said with our dogs age it was bette

We love Dr. Comito! He takes excellent care of our pets and it is well-worth the short trip from Ankeny to Polk City.

I have been taking my pets to Dr. Comito for 15 years. I would not take my pets anywhere else. Very caring And reasonably priced. They are good with pets. I will always go there with whatever animals I have.

Dr. Comito is a wonderful vet and incredible human being. I trust all of my cats to his care for last 25 years. He is very professional, caring, kind, always find time for an appointment. On several occasions he was able to come to the office after hours and on his days off to help my cats during emergency situations. I highly recommend Dr. Comito.

Everyone is so kind and caring and I consider Dr. COMITO to be my dog’s pediatrician and trusted animal advocate.
