I hired Jen to help train my puppy’s behavior that was getting out of control. Luna, our puppy, was our first high energy working dog who is a mixed cattle dog and pitbull. We didn’t know how to properly handle her by ourselves and were considering rehoming her. Hiring Jen has saved our life, not to be dramatic!! We hired her because she is very positive with how she trains dogs without the use of fear factors like shock collars. She is always willing to talk to us when something arises! She is also willing to do at home visits, which is really helpful. Jen is very knowledgeable and without her, we wouldn’t have our adorable puppy.

Jen from Points of Wisdom is phenomenal! We have done two six week classes with her as well as an in-home session. She helped us form a rewarding bond with our rescue Cedar. He is well on his way to Canine Good Citizen! Jen is great with all levels of training from total beginners to seasoned handlers. She is kind to both the dogs and the owners and a pleasure to work with. Ohhhhhh puppies are so adorable until they are biting you, going potty in the house and running the house!!!! Thankfully Jen from Points of Wisdom came to my house and taught me how to teach my new adorable 6 month old doodle! She showed me positive reinforcement with little treats and big “good girls” goes so much further than yelling NO!! She showed me how to use a bell on my door for my pup to show me she had to go out. Jen has helped me tremendously with my 8 month old great dane. He is very fearful and has some behavioral issues that she has been helping us through. One thing that he does not tolerate at all is his nails being cut. I took him to the vet and they wanted to sedate/medicate him to do his nails. He is so young and I don't want that to be what we need to do to get his nails done. Jen came to my house that same day the vet's office was unable to do his nails, and with a ton of patience and cheese, we were able to get his nails trimmed without holding him down or forcing him. I couldn't believe the difference! She is always willing to guide me on how to handle different situations with him and I am so thankful to have her guidance.

Have only had a few trainings so far with our two dogs and Jen is amazing. Our dogs love seeing her and going to training. They have already grown and learned so much. She makes it fun for us and the dogs. She’s caring and kind and funny. HIGHLY recommend this training!!!
